CDL DRIVER
Looking to fill a few Full-Time positions for class A CDL truck drivers (40+ hours with overtime pay). Local hauls only. This is a fulltime, year-round job. We are not seasonal. Drivers will mainly be hauling sod, but might be asked to haul hay, tractors, forklifts, or bags of seed. We also have water tankers, so a tanker endorsement is a plus but not required. Drivers will be responsible for the safe loading and unloading of sod pallets at the sod field and at the job sites, as well as tarping, strapping, un-tarping, and unstrapping their loads. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required!
* Based out of Boynton Beach. Daily hauls are from Boynton Beach to Okeechobee area, then anywhere from Vero Beach to Miami and back to Boynton Beach.
* Drivers are home every night.
* Drivers will drive company owned trucks (no owner-operators).
* Typical work week is Monday through Friday, but you might be asked to work on a Saturday or Sunday if you would like more hours.
* Typical day starts early (between 5:00 and 6:00 am) and ends after your last load is delivered - typically 10 hour days (Monday through Friday) with time and a half overtime paid.
REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
* Must have 2 (two) years of Class A CDL Driving Experience (per insurance requirements)
* Must have an acceptable driving record (per insurance requirements)
* Must pass a pre-employment drug test
* Must have a current Class A Florida drivers license
* Must be legal to work in the United States (we do E-Verify) EOE
