⚠ IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
🔹 Transfer Kit Message
Printer displays “Replace Transfer Kit” message
Printing still functions despite the message
A known working transfer kit was installed for testing, and the message did not clear
Message appears related to internal maintenance counters, sensors, or logic rather than the physical kit
Buyer should assume the message will remain present, even if a replacement kit is installed
🔹 Fuser Note
The installed image fuser was swapped into another HP Color LaserJet 4700 that previously reported significantly higher remaining fuser life. Assume the fuser life is shorter than what is reported on the Supplies Status page (see photo).
On this model, fuser life is tracked internally by the printer and does not update when fusers are swapped
As a result, the displayed fuser percentage may not reflect the installed fuser’s prior reported life
🔹 Black Toner Cartridge Requirement
The printer does not print when a non-genuine HP black toner cartridge is installed
When a recognized/genuine HP black toner cartridge is installed, the printer prints normally
Printer was tested and demonstrated with a recognized black cartridge installed
Buyer should plan to use a genuine HP black toner cartridge for normal operation
🔹 Cosmetic Condition
A small internal plastic guide piece is broken off
The detached piece is included and may be reattached if desired
Cosmetic/structural only; does not affect printing or operation
