Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed College Campus  in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Educion, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Prol Officer an educion locion, where you will monitor and prol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-reled incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through strong communicion and customer service. Job Schedule:

Wh You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities an educional locion.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situions in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, while documenting security-reled concerns and notifying approprie personnel.
• Conduct regular and random prols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locions to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violions.
• Maintain readiness for an armed post by following post orders, handling assigned equipment in accordance with policy, and supporting security-reled response activities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess least 1 year of armed security-reled, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of years of corrections, law enforcement and military background. 
• Possess a college degree in criminal justice.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
