Job Description & Requirements
• Patrolling facilities & properties or manning posts to provide security presence
• Detecting suspicious activity and threats to property or people
• Watching for criminal activity and responding based on your training
• Daily reporting of all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies
• Must be customer service oriented
• Must have some computer skills
• Must have current Security "D" License
• Must have valid Driver's License and own transportation
• MUST be able to move, lift, carry, push, and pull, objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
• Promote staff engagement and team work to provide optimum service so that guest needs and expectations are met
• Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs, reservation request, changes, and cancellations
• Secure payment: verify and adjust billing, activate and file room keys, process all guest requests and relay messages
• Ensure that any outstanding request or problems from the previous day are received priority and are resolved
• Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers and miscellaneous charges
• Identify and explain room features to guests, supply guests with directions and information regarding property, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
