help contribute to project civil design, CAD production, project permitting and construction inspections.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND PHILOSOPHY:
● Major contributor towards complete civil design and project management for numerous residential,
commercial, municipal and government projects in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie, Indian River and
Brevard Counties from 1998 to present: see attached sheet for Representative Project Descriptions
● Proficient and skilled in AutoCAD 3D helping to aide in producing civil design plans which are
professional, high quality and thorough
● Experienced with Flood Routings and complete Water Management Design – ICPR course certified
● Field experienced aiding in quality civil designs which are “buildable” as well as cost efficient
● Understand the importance of paying attention to detail while still seeing the “Big Picture”
● Adept at finding effective and efficient design solutions at the request of jurisdiction agencies and/or
clients etc. – good problem solving, value engineering and hands-on skills
● Good communication skills – realize the importance of and strive to establish straight forward
communication with co-workers, clients, governing agencies, planners, contractors etc.
● Completed American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certification – Grade 1
● Computer Literate – familiar with using numerous computer software programs as tools to complete
common day to day tasks needed for project design, permit coordination and construction engineering:
AutoCAD 3D, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, numerous engineering design programs (i.e. ICPR,
Cascades, ASAD LT, Outfall, etc.)
● Knowledgeable about soil compaction methods and soil testing methods and requirements
● Experienced in completing master infrastructure system designs and cost estimates
● Take pride in contributing towards quality permitted designs within the projected timelines and
budgets
● Realize that most often simplistic straight forward value engineering civil designs produce the best
infrastructure systems
● Familiar with completing numerous field inspections i.e. subgrade, curb, base & asphalt paving
inspections, reinforcing steel, post tensioning, concrete testing, pile driving, auger cast piles, etc.
● Strive to work closely with clients, coworkers, planners, designers, field representatives and
contractors to ensure all are on the “same page” from the initial planning stage through final turn over
and completion of a project
● Experienced with working with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (2 years of USACE experience; CQM
certified; hands- on CQC experience; Environmental Health and Safety Trained)
