If you're someone who has a big heart and isn't looking to train a puppy, consider adopting a well-behaved older dog just waiting for someone to look past their greying muzzle and see the heart of gold within. Animal-Aid Rescue has some loving older dogs that have a lot of love to give, if just given a second chance. If older animals don't interest you, we also have some younger dogs at our rescue.
Many older dogs (7 years and up) are good dogs whose elderly owners could no longer look after them, were strays or came from an abusive situation........and want nothing more than to have a family and be loved again. Confused and depressed, it can be hard for them to stand out and get adopted.
If you want someone who loves to cuddle with you on the sofa while you're watching TV, who's housebroken, won't chew on your shoes and will love you unconditionally, consider Animal-Aid Rescue at 571 NE 44th St. in Oakland Park, FL. and find your perfect companion. Pet adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from 12-5. Reasonable adoption fees. Website: Animal-Aid.com
