We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Permit Technician to join our growing pool construction company. This position is responsible for managing the permitting process from start to finish and supporting administrative functions to ensure projects move forward efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit permit applications to local municipalities
Track permit status and follow up regularly with permitting offices
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors
Schedule inspections and manage inspection calendars
Maintain accurate permit records and update internal tracking systems
Print plans and prepare permit packages for field crews
Assist with permit close-outs and final approvals
Provide administrative support to the construction team as needed
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with permitting, construction administration, or office administration preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience in pool construction or construction industry is a plus
