I am selling an EKO Spencer CS-5 classical parlor guitar manufactured by the Italian guitar maker EKO. EKO was a guitar manufacturer that also made high quality guitars for Vox in the 1960's and 70's. It is a ¾ sized nylon stringed guitar which makes a good travel guitar and is also perfect for a child, a new player or a person with smaller hands. It has an amazingly full sound with low action and is very easy to play. Like many guitars from this era, it has a lacquer finish with some minor finish checking on the front. This is a cosmetic issue only and does not affect the sound or playability of the guitar in any way.
For information about guitar finish checking go to:
The length of the guitar is 35 ½ in, width: 12 ½ in (lower bout), 10 in (upper bout) and 3 ¼ in deep. The body is 17 ½ in long, the fretboard is 15 ½ in and the width of the nut is 1 5/8 in. It has one replacement tuner which is different from the other 5, but it works well and is only a cosmetic issue. Overall, it is in excellent vintage guitar that is in very good overall condition.
I am also selling several other acoustic, electric and classical guitars on Craigslist and other auction sites. Please feel free to contact me if there is something specific you are looking for but have not been able to find.
