Job Summary:
We are seeking a full time Compliance Agent to ensure our Moving Company maintains industry standards and customer satisfaction. This role focuses on minimizing risks, avoiding penalties, supporting safe/legal operations, and effectively managing customer claims for loss or damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, resolve, and prevent DOT and BBB submissions, while actively fostering a culture that can help us earn good BBB reputation.
- Ensure proper handling of required customer documents (estimates and bills of lading).
- Assist customers with filing and processing claims for loss, damage, or delay in accordance with FMCSA guidelines (including timely acknowledgment, investigation, and resolution/closure).
- Support the claims process by reviewing claims documentation, coordinating inspections, and ensuring fair settlements to maintain customer satisfaction and compliance.
- Investigate incidents/violations in order to execute corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents/violations in order to develop and implement preventative processes.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, prepare filings, and respond to audits or inquiries.
- Support claims prevention through training, process improvements, and liability compliance.
Qualifications
- Intermediate Computer Literacy.
- Comfortable handling client escalations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- Confidence in your ability to write professional emails and maintain high levels of organization is ideal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From $1,000.00 per week.
NO INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. AMPLE TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.
Work Location: In office regular business hours Monday-Friday (weekends off)
