- We are currently seeking a general construction laborer to assist asphalt and civil crews.
-Working knowledge of general labor skills
- Assisting asphalt crew shoveling, cleaning the jobsite and loading/unloading materials and equipment.
- Ensures that job sites and staging areas are kept safe, clean and organized.
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using a variety of power and hand tools.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 100 pounds and over.
- Experience in the safe and effective use of a hand shovel required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Communicate with supervisors and project managers regarding progress and any issues that arise
Skills/Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in construction
- Ability to lift 100lbs.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required
