Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Construction Supervisor / Project Manager to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company standards. This role is responsible for supervising construction crews, managing subcontractors, monitoring job progress, coordinating materials, and maintaining quality control across all active projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple job sites simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Supervision & Quality Control
Supervise and support construction crews to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure timelines are being met
Inspect completed and ongoing work to confirm compliance with plans, specifications, and local codes
Identify and address any issues, delays, or deficiencies in a timely manner
Project Management & Coordination
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from start to completion
Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors to ensure proper scheduling and performance
Ensure subcontractors are completing work correctly and according to scope
Maintain clear communication between office staff, field teams, subcontractors, and management
Material Ordering & Logistics
Order materials for subcontractors and construction crews as needed
Review and verify material orders for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate material deliveries to ensure availability aligns with project schedules
Track materials and ensure proper usage on job sites
Scheduling & Administrative Support
Assist with scheduling inspections as needed and ensure jobs are prepared for inspection
Monitor project timelines and help maintain efficient workflow
Provide updates on project status, progress, and any potential delays
Help ensure projects move smoothly through each phase of construction
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction supervision, project management, or related role required
Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and job site management
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Ability to read plans and understand construction specifications
Proficient with phone, computer, and basic project management tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coordinating subcontractors and inspections
Experience ordering and managing construction materials
Experience in pool construction or residential construction preferred
Work Environment:
Combination of field and office work
Frequent travel to job sites required
