I am offering a private bedroom, free internet and the use of a car in a beautiful townhouse near the beach and intracoastal in downtown Lake Worth in exchange for an assistant for my wonderful, sweet 88 years-young father. The assistant's duties will be the following:
drive dad to appointments
housekeeping/cleaning/laundry
help dad up and down the stars and in and out of the shower
prepare/cook homemade meals with recipes and groceries I will provide
drive dad to meet friends on occasion
there will be many hours of downtime but you must be available from 8 am to 10 pm in case of emergency. There will be a set schedule and you will have one day per week off.
Pay is $3,000 cash plus all the above benefits. The assistant will have a private room, private tv and cable, internet, the use of a car, and many other benefits including companionship with a great man ( my dad). Candidates must pass a background check, be under the age of 65 and be drug-free. The townhouse has three bedrooms, four balconies, four bedrooms and is very beautiful and pleasant with convenient proximity to downtown Lake Worth and the beach. This is a low-stress caregiving job as dad is lucid and is not incontinent.
