*****NOT A REMOTE POSITION ****The ideal candidate will handle everything from ongoing moves to post move concerns. This position entails heavy phone use. Handle all aspects of daily operations. Call handling for several moving companies- handle multi-line phone system, recognize incoming caller identification, use appropriate call out codes. Handle customer service issues.
Pre-Move
• Make outgoing calls to customers prior to their move date to confirm everything.
• Prepare all paperwork for next day's moves.
• Handle occasional sales/new customer calls requesting moving rates and information.
• Record all relevant details from conversation in move tracking software.
Day-Of Operations
• Handle all incoming calls on the day of the move- asking for ETA, review moving charges, special instructions, etc.
• Complete closeouts with drivers and movers. Record in system and be able to review with customer if needed.
• Record all relevant details from conversation in move tracking software.
Post-Move Follow Ups
• Call customers 1-2 days following their move to ensure everything went well. Offer any additional services- moving, unpacking, etc.
• Handle all incoming calls regarding missing or damaged items.
• Handle entire claim from start to finish. Input and track steps of claim handling process.
• Record all relevant details from conversation in move tracking software.
Requirements
• Flexible scheduling- must be able to work Saturdays , per determined schedule.
• Strong verbal skills and confidence on the phone.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environment and ability to recognize and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Understand the "big picture" but don't overlook the details.
• Patience with customer service and upset customers.
• Work as a team player and communicate information with several different people on daily basis.
• Strong computer and typing skills with ability to learn programs quickly.
• Experience with moving and storage industry a plus.
