Solid oak wood index card filing box made by Globe Wernicke in the United States. The company was founded in 1899 and this piece was likely made in the 1940s. The 7310-C Peerless Tray is constructed with dovetail joints and features a solid metal sliding divider. The box is 5.5" wide, 10" long and 3" in height. It is good condition with some wear on the outside and some rust on the bottom of the metal tray.
