18" x 24", old canvas attached to board, clear, clean colors and condition - see photos for any concerns. We have here an interesting, early American scene with two lovers in a boat 'going at it with each other'! Nicely detailed with wonderful. period colors! By style and dress I would put this painting mid-1800's. Probably cut from a slightly larger canvas with damaged edges, clean cut and attached to board.
