Sean is a sweet, loving, and vivacious seven-year-old. He can brighten up the whole room with his smile!
In late March of 2018 after a trip to the emergency room he was diagnosed with T cell ALL Leukemia. During the last few months, he has had a bone marrow biopsy, spinal tap procedures and multiple blood transfusions. He has done several rounds of chemotherapy (with more to go), at Joe Dimaggio Children's hospital in Hollywood. His treatment is anticipated to span over the next 90 days with a recovery period from 3 to 5 years.
ean's parents, Valeria and Gabriel, also have a an older son, Kevin, who is unable to be at the hospital with them. The costs of dealing with this, traveling, parking, missing work and a million other things, is overwhelming. Financial burdens should not be an obstacle on the road to recovery. Although medical insurance should cover much of the cost of Sean's care, it is anticipated that there will be excessive bills to pay. Some of the funds raised will assist his brother to maintain participation in school and sporting events. Donations would also assist with normal expenses due to the loss of wages during this time.
