We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Safety & Compliance Coordinator to support our trucking operations and ensure full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce DOT/FMCSA safety and compliance standards
Maintain driver qualification files (DQFs) and compliance records
Review driver logs, ELDs, and Hours of Service (HOS) for accuracy
Manage drug & alcohol testing programs and records
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Track and maintain vehicle maintenance and inspection records
Provide safety training and coaching to drivers
Assist with DOT audits and ensure readiness at all times
Qualifications:
Experience in trucking safety and compliance required
Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, HOS, and ELD regulations
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Experience with safety/compliance software (Motive, Samsara, etc.)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
