The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry, with strong knowledge of export operations across air freight, ocean freight, and domestic transportation.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage export shipments via air, ocean, and ground transportation.
Prepare and process export documentation and compliance requirements.
Handle AES filings, SED/EEI submissions, and customs-related documentation.
Coordinate with airlines, steamship lines, trucking companies, warehouses, and overseas agents.
Monitor shipments from origin to destination and provide timely customer updates.
Manage booking arrangements and carrier communications.
Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and company procedures.
Maintain accurate shipment records within the operating system.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of freight forwarding/export operations experience.
Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and trucking operations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with MAGAYA software is required.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
