Description
This is for a Pair of Two (2) of American Flyer AF Track Switches (Turn-Outs) for S Gauge Trains. They are unusual and maybe RARE? because they are not the common Flyer switch. They have a lever to allow manual operation of the switches along with the remote control feature; the bulb inside of the switch track housing does not use the traditional celluloid strips, but instead there is a colored plastic collar that rotates on the bulb; and it also has a switch on the track to allow for 2 Train Operation.
This is for a pair of right and left switch tracks. They are 3/16" Scale Remote Control Track Switches. These are probably from the 1960's. (They are similar to the 678, 679, 720-A, 720, 722, 26742, etc track switches, but are of a newer different design.) They are in working condition. I tested the motors and controller and they all work correctly including the light bulbs in the switches and controller, but I do not guarantee the operation of the light bulbs from the rigors of transit in the mail and they are a common maintenance item. Great gift for the American Flyer & Lionel Train Collector, layout builder and Operator.
Tracks may need a light cleaning and polishing to obtain maximum electrical continuity. The control wires have splices and should be replaced or you can use as-is. - Please study the pics. Sold as-is
