My name is Jim. I'm a TEFL-certified online English teacher. Essentially I'm a digital nomad and I started working for schools but am starting to get work later than I thought and am basically broke. From Monday night I will be in Miami. I am looking to stay somewhere on Tuesday night, March 4th. I cannot pay rent but I can offer English lessons if needed, help with housework, etc. I can proofread, write, house sit, dog walk and so on. If there is a service you need and in retun you can provide me with a modest room, a couch, a floor even, and access to a bathroom, please write back. I know there are shelters in Miami and while I will be utilizing their day services for needs for the short term, I do not want to sleep there due to safety concerns for myself and my electronics which I need to teach my classes. If I do not find a room to stay, I will just stay up all night in the safest neighborhoods I can find (that is why I used the Coconut Grove zip code here and maybe someone there can give me a break, but anywhere is ok with me if I can be indoors at night and safe), and rest during the day at campus and public libraries and when possible at the movies. Anyway, I know this request may never be answered but I am just trying everything to have somewhere to sleep safely in Miami and keep my things safe. I am 61, male, originally from New Jersey, Catholic, caucasian. I never do drugs. I do not drink or smoke. I am quiet and respectful. I'm an animal lover. I've worked as a Summer Camp counselor and in MorningCare and AfterCare at schools so I am experienced with children. I've worked in advertising as a proofreader. I have been a driver at Catholic Charities. I have worked as a tour guide and boat captain. I'm fairly diverse as you can see. Now, I am doing all I can to build my teaching business. Anyway if you have a room, or even a couch or spot on your floor or even outside in your backyard that I can use short-term, please reply, and if I hear from no one, I imagine someone at least read this through so I wish you a great week and good luck in all you do! Thank you for reading...Best, Jim
