Unarmed Security Officer for Gatehouse & Rover Positions
Our professional security guard company is currently hiring professional, reliable, and detail oriented individuals for unarmed security positions at residential communities. We are seeking candidates who take pride in maintaining a strong presence, communicating effectively, and delivering high level customer service while ensuring safety.
This role includes gatehouse (access control) and rover patrol responsibilities.

Position Overview
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while representing the company in a professional manner. Officers must remain alert, responsive, and courteous at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Gatehouse Duties:
• Control access to the property by verifying residents, guests, and vendors
• Monitor entry/exit points and follow established access procedures
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or irregularities
• Maintain accurate visitor and incident logs
Rover Patrol Duties:
• Conduct regular patrols of the community (vehicle or foot, depending on site)
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity
• Identify and report security concerns, hazards, or violations
• Respond to incidents and support gatehouse operations as needed
General Responsibilities:
• Write clear and accurate incident reports
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
• Provide professional customer service to residents and guests
• Follow all post orders and company protocols

Qualifications
• Valid Florida Class D Security License (required)
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance
• Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions under pressure
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
