Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and versatile Receptionist and Accounting Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role combines front-desk reception duties with essential accounting support, providing a seamless and efficient workflow within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage the front desk, including answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and handling correspondence.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Accounting Support:
Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, bills, and payments.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Perform data entry for accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial records.
Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Handle other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist, accounting assistant, or in a similar role.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
