We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage certified payroll, regular payroll, human resources tasks, and general office administration. This role is essential to ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with labor requirements, and smooth day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Process certified payroll in compliance with federal, state, and project requirements (Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage, etc.)
Assist with human resources functions, including onboarding, employee files, and compliance
Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR matters
Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
Accounts Payables/ Accounts Receivables includes preparation of invoicing and vendor payments
Bank Reconciliation
Qualifications:
Experience with payroll processing and certified payroll preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Preferred Experience:
Construction industry experience is a plus
Familiarity with accounting software a plus (such as QuickBooks, ComputerEase or similar)
