Accounting & Tax office in Kendall, FL seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Front Desk/Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will help maintain a positive, friendly and professional atmosphere while supporting the day-to-day functions of our office.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome clients that come to the office
• Answer, follow up and forward incoming phone calls
• Schedule client's appointments
• Data entry to accounting and tax software
• Provide accurate information in person, via phone and email
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, printing, scanning, and faxing
Requirements:
• Fluent in English and Spanish written and oral is A MUST
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required, knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
• Professional and friendly attitude
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent customer service skills
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial data
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a receptionist or office setting
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
