Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Permit Runner with a strong background in the impact windows and/or roofing industry. This is a remote, per-permit (1099) position; however, the permit runner must be able to come to our office as needed to pick up, drop off, or process physical permit documents.
Requirements (Must Have):
-Minimum 3 years of experience in the impact windows and/or roofing industry
-Proven experience submitting, tracking, and closing permits
-Knowledge of Florida Building Code and local permitting processes
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
-Submit new permits and revisions (online and in person)
-Track permit status and follow up with city and county departments
-Pick up, drop off, and close permits when required
-Coordinate inspections and resolve basic plan review comments
-Provide status updates to the office team
-Experience with Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties
