Maintenance / Porter / General Cleaning – Full-Time
Location: Miami Gardens, FL 33169
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $15.00/hour
We are a private school in Miami Gardens looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our facilities department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, and is willing to help wherever needed to keep our campus clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
* General cleaning of classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
* Setting up classrooms and event spaces
* Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies
* Basic building maintenance and repairs
* Painting and drywall touch-ups
* Basic landscaping and outdoor cleanup
* Reporting maintenance issues that require repair
* Assisting with other facility-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Reliable and punctual
* Able to lift and move furniture and equipment
* Organized and able to work independently
* Comfortable performing a variety of physical tasks
* Maintenance or handyman experience is a plus, but not required
* Must be authorized to work in the United States
* Must be able to pass a background check
Language
* English required
* Spanish preferred
