Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and servicing commercial doors and hardware, including aluminum storefront doors, hollow metal doors, closers, panic bars, and related hardware.
Responsibilities:
Install and service commercial doors, frames, and hardware
Install door closers, panic bars, hinges, locks, and other hardware
Repair and adjust storefront and aluminum glass doors
Ensure proper door alignment, operation, and safety compliance
Troubleshoot door and hardware issues
Maintain clean and professional work areas
Communicate with office staff and clients regarding job progress
Follow company safety and service standards
Qualifications:
Experience installing commercial doors and hardware preferred
Experience with aluminum storefront doors is a plus
Ability to use power tools and installation equipment
Ability to read measurements and install hardware accurately
Strong problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license
Reliable and punctual
Preferred Experience:
Locksmith experience
Door closers and panic hardware installation
Storefront door adjustments
Access control hardware installation (a plus)
