We are currently hiring a part-time Field Operator in Miami to support the deployment of our on-site IoT infrastructure across active construction projects.
The role focuses on hands-on installation of sensors in active job sites, ensuring accurate placement and alignment with construction plans, while working closely with our remote operations team.
About the Role:
-Type: 1099 contract
-Time: ~1–2 installations/week (1–2 hrs each - minimum 4 hours of pay per visit)
-Duration: Ongoing
-Location: On-site
-Training: Paid virtual training (2 hours)
-Pay: Minimum $120 per visit, $30 per hour
-Start Date: immediately
Responsibilities:
-Install Bluetooth sensors on wood decks before concrete pours
-Follow simple install instructions (no wiring or drilling - just nail and take picture)
-Coordinate with Genda’s remote team for scheduling and support
Requirements:
-Attach your CV/short brief about your experience
-Previous experience working on active construction sites required
-Strong understanding of construction site workflows, especially concrete-related activities
-Experience reading blueprints and taking accurate measurements
-Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with remote teams
-Comfortable using basic technology (apps, email, phone sync, etc.)
-Able to access active construction sites
-Comfortable with basic tools (nail gun, hammer)
-Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
-OSHA 10 certification - Mandatory
-Experience working directly with clients - Mandatory
