I became a Certified Independent Contractor with Floor & Decor to install hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl, bamboo, porcelain tile, and natural stone flooring. In the last few years, I have evolved into kitchen and bath installations and complete home remodeling. Also, I decided to differentiate myself from the competition by becoming a One-Stop-Shop in the construction business and adding a few more licenses to my portfolio. So now, besides complete home remodeling, I also offer Home Inspection, Mold Assessment and Remediation, and Fire and Water cleanup and restoration.

Okay. So here was really interesting because not only did the floor tile come out excellent. They had to cut around a Murphy bed and have it fit just right, which is perfect. Gilberto is an adventurer. He has traveled to over 46 countries around the world and speaks 5 languages. In 1980 he left his native Brazil and one year later landed in New York with $2.30 to his name. While working as a carpet cleaner he attended Queensborough Community College and graduated in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Florida in 2001 and after working as a Network Engineer for a few years he decided to switch to the construction industry in 2005. He then started pursuing the licenses needed to accomplish his goals as a successful contractor.
