Scam alert for sellers here zelle venmo scam (Miami)

Hi everyone, someone just tried to scam me so I wanted to warn everyone that if you’re selling something on Craigslist and even Marketplace and someone wants to Venmo or Zelle you, please be extremely careful. They said they were sending me money via a “business account” but because my Venmo was a “normal account. I would have to upgrade by requesting the sender send an additional $500”. The fake confirmation email said I could then “refund” the $500 back to the payer. My business partner is a cyber security architect and white hat hacker, so he has taught me to always dig deep before doing something like that. Anyways, be careful out there. I iDumb scammers are everywhere. Always check the address of where an email has originated from. Venmo and Zelle do NOT have .
