Position: Dishwasher

Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef
Position Summary
Corteza is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
Remove trash and recycling and transport it to designated disposal areas.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when required.
Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and prep tasks as assigned.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Keep cleaning supplies stocked and notify management when supplies are low.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen throughout service.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
Schedule
Full-time or Part-time available.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
