The Front Desk / Concierge is the first point of contact for residents, guests, vendors, and service providers. This individual must be professional, courteous, and efficient in delivering a positive experience while maintaining building security, managing deliveries, answering inquiries, and addressing resident concerns. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain a welcoming and orderly front desk area.
- Monitor building security cameras and manage access control.
- Receive and log packages and deliveries; notify residents promptly.
- Coordinate access for vendors, maintenance personnel, and authorized guests.
- Respond to resident requests and concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
- Maintain visitor and service logs.
- Communicate regularly with property management regarding any building issues or incidents.
- Enforce building rules and regulations with diplomacy and consistency.
- Assist with emergencies, evacuations, or urgent matters in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in hospitality, front desk, or residential concierge preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, building management systems).
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and helpful in high-pressure situations.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Fluent English required; bilingual a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
