Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Technician to oversee and perform AC and Duct installations, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems. This role requires a proactive approach to field service operations, ensuring optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Perform complex repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform duct work installation, modification, and repair (metal and flex)
• Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools; recommend appropriate solutions.
• Manage field service activities efficiently while maintaining high safety standards; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
Skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with mechanical aptitude; ability to work independently or lead a team effectively.
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable HVAC experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and diagnostic procedures
• Strong knowledge of duct fabrication, layout, sealing, and installation
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must provide your own tools
