We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of apartment units and common areas.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain grounds and common areas in clean, safe condition
Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the property
Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests
Complete plumbing work, including unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and minor pipe repairs
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues (electrical experience preferred)
Perform carpentry work including drywall/sheetrock patching, repair, and replacement
Conduct apartment make-ready/turnovers and preventative maintenance
Repair appliances as needed
Perform cleaning and general upkeep of maintenance areas
Conduct roof inspections and minor roof repairs (preferred)
Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor, Office Manager, and on-site staff
Provide professional, courteous service to residents, vendors, and team members
Qualifications & Requirements
Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
Ability to perform drywall and basic carpentry work
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not required)
At least 1 year of maintenance experience (preferred)
