SMI Security Management, Inc. is seeking a dependable, professional, and experienced Working Site Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at one of our premier client locations in the Miami Biscayne area.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The selected candidate will perform security officer duties while also supervising the site's day-to-day security operations and leading a team of seven (7) security officers.
Position Summary
The Working Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a visible security presence, and ensuring all security operations are performed in accordance with company policies and client expectations. This individual will supervise security personnel, coordinate daily operations, and serve as the primary point of contact during their assigned shift.

Wednesday – Sunday
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $50,000 annually

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of seven (7) security officers.
Perform regular security officer duties while actively monitoring the assigned post.
Oversee the day-to-day security operations at the assigned location.
Prepare, maintain, and manage employee work schedules.
Ensure all officers comply with company policies, procedures, and post orders.
Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational updates.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Train, coach, and mentor security personnel to maintain high performance standards.
Maintain effective communication with SMI management and the client.
Ensure outstanding customer service and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage schedules and supervise multiple employees.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
Working knowledge of report writing and security procedures.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Must meet all applicable state licensing requirements for security officers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
Qualified candidates who are not bilingual are also encouraged to apply.
Experience supervising contract security operations is a plus.
