I have been a licensed driver since I was 16 years old and have over **59 years of driving experience** with an excellent driving record. My last accident was in 2008, following the loss of my wife, when I experienced an unexpected reaction to prescribed sleep and pain medications. Since then, I have maintained a safe driving record with no accidents.
Over the years, I have driven:
* 18-foot and 16-foot box trucks
* 10-foot box trucks
* Limousines
* Manual transmission vehicles (3-, 4-, and 5-speed)
I am comfortable driving either your vehicle or my own. I currently own a **2024 Ford Escape**, which is available for work.
I am especially interested in:
* Local delivery driving
* Courier services
* Transporting important documents or envelopes between businesses
* Small package deliveries (up to 40 pounds)
I recently had back surgery on **May 7, 2025**, so I am unable to lift heavy items. However, I am fully capable of handling driving duties and lighter deliveries and am ready to return to work.
As a retiree, I prefer **1099 independent contractor** work and do not require employee benefits.
