This role supports the daily operations of a family owned wholesale footwear company, assisting with order processing, customer communication, inventory coordination, and general office tasks.
Responsibilities
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with retailers regarding availability, pricing, and shipment updates
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch
• Assist with invoicing, billing, and basic account follow up
• Maintain organized records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions
• Support general office operations and contribute to a smooth daily workflow
• Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization of all office records.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
• Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to assist with invoicing.
• Organize files, and ensure the office environment is tidy and welcoming.
Experience
• Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with office management tasks such as data entry, filing, and customer support.
