This is the description from one ad (in England where it is $250) "The Peavey Pacer is a great sounding solid state 1×12 guitar amp that is USA built. It is amazing, powerful, and appropriately named — great clean tone and overdrive, creates a great platform for pedals as well. Difficult to describe how good this amp sounds and performs. Many tube amps don’t sound this good."
I read the reviews on Reverb and ALL said similar..."the BEST", A true "Sleeper amp" and the clean channel was described as the finest by all.

Has the original reverb tank (see photo as you have to read the label) which works great. Only a couple of the knobs had a bit of crusty crackle which did get a lot better after using them a bit. This has sat many years. Cleaning the pots would be on the list of things to do but thats for EVERY amp over 40 years old. The distortion channel does need a footswitch to switch on and off. All three tone controls work proper with a lot of adjustment range. Another bonus, this amp is not as heavy as you would think. It might even be called light compared to similar size and vintage amps. This amp likely saw some heavy use back in the day.....but it wasn't beat up on based on the appearance and the fact that everything works after 45 years or so. The knobs had the black sticker in the center fall off most, and one knob was replaced. The Peavey logo and the 2 side strips that were silver were blacked out at some point in its past. I see some list this as a 150 watt amp BUT thats the power use next to the power switch. The 45 watt RMS is next to the speaker jack (see photo)
THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO DO A FULL RESTORE OR TO USE JUST AS IT IS
TRY IT OUT FIRST
