Here for sale is a 1998 Made in Korea reissue of the Danelectro Longhorn bass in the sparkly “Beatnik Burgundy” finish.
It’s in pretty good shape—not used very much, no bad dings or scratches anywhere. It’s mostly lived in its gig bag as long as I’ve had it. The only issue I can say it has is the usual problem these have with their “binding” tape, where because of age-related drying and shrinkage, it pops off a bit around the neck pocket area, but it’s a very minor issue.
It’s an excellent player. Slim, fast short scale neck, and more tonal variety than you would think.
It has D’Addario strings on it which have only been on it a few months, again, not having seen much use.
I will be adding more pictures when I can, as I only have the one right now, but feel free to ask for some as well.
