Incredible guitar teacher who charges a very reasonable price -- it's as simple as that. Tommy is a really laid back guy who is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to anything guitar. Whether its blues, folk, pop, or rock, Tommy has you covered. His style of teaching is very relaxed but extremely productive at the same time. He knows all of the tips, tricks, and subtle nuances of almost any band or style of music that you won't learn by simply watching youtube clips. Additionally, he will perfect your technique to the point that your playing is as finely tuned as your own guitar.
Tommy is an honest, straightforward, and kind person who won't make you sign any contracts or charge you an arm and a leg for his services. Therefore, you really have nothing to lose by giving him at least an hour of your time to help you with your guitar playing. One session with him and you'll be hooked!

Both of my kids took lessons from Tommy, my daughter until she left for college in NY, and my son from age 9 to 19, when he too went off to college. My son in particular, showed both a talent and a passion for guitar (we are a family of musicians), and all he needed was Tommy's great care, interest and abilities as a teacher to develop into the amazing lead guitarist he is today. Both kids now play professionally, daughter in New York (acoustic, country-folk), and son in a rock band in Fla. Tommy himself is an amazing musician and teaches many genres, but will work with you in your favorite one. He challenged my kids, inspired my kids, and taught them the right way. I think the world of him and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Along with being an amazing teacher, he's a great guy!

I have really enjoyed working with Tommy on learning to play guitar. Not only is he an amazing musician, Tommy is also a great teacher. He is extremely effective, organized and patient, and will guide you toward your goals no matter what level of player you are. He has always been nothing but helpful and encouraging. Tommy is even able to offer online lessons on occasions when I can’t physically go to his studio. He has a great passion for guitar, and ukulele as well. I always leave my lessons with a renewed excitement about my playing. I would recommend him to anyone of any age and experience level.
