OUTSTANDING- Keeps perfect time and the chime works. All recent sales of this exact clock on Ebay had non working chimes and were $68 and $105 delivered. The chimes are not loud, which is a complaint about many other clocks I have. It gets annoying every hour, and every half if it is loud. Made from hardwood though not solid pieces as that would be another price range. These were made from the 70s through late 80s and into the 90s from what I can find and these were found in Sears catalogs back when they existed.
