If you don't want the sleek and digital look for your kitchen or your decor is vintage or retro this is the finest of all of these sets that you will find. AWESOME GIFT for mom or grandma...they can use the same appliances they used to. Hey, these were good enough to use and cook with a generation ago and the food and baked goods are no better now. As far as function, little has changed they just have led digital displays and maybe programmable functions and like my grandma always said, it's just more to break or go wrong. Keep it simple, I don't need a blender smarter than me.
