⢠Location â Hallandale Beach area (Zip â 33009)
⢠Schedule â The shift is 10 hrs. daily 4 days / week (Mon. â Thurs.), 8 am start. 40 hrs. / week.
Ideal candidates would live in Broward area, have reliable transportation, have previous home care experience, must be able to pass background check, must be reliable and speak English or Spanish as required per case.
Responsibilities and Duties:
⢠Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
o Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
o Ambulation/Transfers
o Eating
o Dressing/Shaving
o Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
o Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
o Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
⢠Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
o Medication reminders
o Measuring and preparing special diets
o Understanding dementia care
o Incontinence care
Qualifications and Skills: (but are not limited to):
⢠Home Heath Aid Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (Required)
⢠Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. (Recommended)
⢠Possess a valid driverâs license and insured automobile (Required)
Preferred Experience in: (but are not limited to):
⢠Hoyer lift
⢠Personal care
⢠Companionship
⢠Light cleaning
Requirements: (but are not limited to):
⢠HHA Certificate (Must have attained certificate prior to interview)
⢠Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
⢠Social Security (in Color)
⢠Proof of Legal Status
⢠Auto Insurance and Registration
⢠CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
⢠TB or Chest X-ray
⢠Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
⢠Liability Insurance
