Bamboo Palm Chamaedorea Parlor Palm Plant Sale - $10 (Hollywood)

2' Tall @ $10 - Small pots $5
Chamaedorea is a species of palm referred to as bamboo palm, parlor palm, or reed palm.
Grows well outdoors in south Florida, like partly shade but will also grow in full sun although will not stay as deep green in the sun. It will give you a nice screening as it grows, to hide a fence or unsightly views.
It is a subtropical palm that grows with thin trunks 16-18 feet tall in the ground, and is commonly used as a houseplant where it will stay small in it's pot. The evergreen leaves are pinnately divided, and get seed clusters that are small, round, orange-red. It's been called a Bamboo Palm for its likeness to bamboo – clumping, and stems marked by leaves that have been shed but it is not the nuisance that real bamboo is when planted in the ground.
