Plant Based Mafia is hiring a strong Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to run our new cloud kitchen in Wilton Manors.
This is not just a management role and not just a cooking role. You will be responsible for both leading the kitchen and executing the food at a high level every day.
We have been in business for over 5 years in Palm Beach Gardens and are now expanding using a cloud kitchen model with plans to scale nationally.
What This Role Is
You will fully run the kitchen day to day when ownership is not present.
This includes:
Managing staff
Scheduling
Handling call outs
Maintaining standards
Stepping in on the line daily
You must treat the kitchen like your own business.
Head Chef Responsibilities
You are the culinary leader.
Your job is to make sure every dish is consistent, high quality, and executed properly.
You will:
Lead the line in a high volume kitchen
Train staff on recipes and execution
Enforce portion control and consistency
Maintain speed and quality under pressure
What You Need
Experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Manager in a high volume kitchen
Strong leadership and communication
Understanding of food cost, prep systems, and inventory
Ability to manage both people and kitchen operations
Reliable, organized, and accountable
Hours of Operation
Monday through Thursday 11 AM to 1:30 AM
Friday 11 AM to 3 AM
Saturday 9:30 AM to 3 AM
Sunday 9:30 AM to 11 PM
This is a late night, high volume kitchen. You must be comfortable working nights and weekends.
