EXCELLENT IN BOX CONDITION--THE CHEAPEST ONE ON EBAY IS $65 AND ALL OTHERS ARE $100 TO $150 DELIVERED.
Used but in its original box and fully tested. This one surprised me as it is a little smaller than the Infinity and other 4 subs I recently sold (and the other 3 listed) but it puts out a LOAD of low bass at 40Hz and into the 30s. Clean bass and not the boomy type from the cheap 8 pound subs, but this one also has a built in amp AND an adjustable crossover. This is the most flexible type as you can run the LFE or SUB OUT jack from your receiver to the sub like most OR! if you have an older receiver or stereo without an output jack for SUB or LFE (Pro Logic Surround 7.1) you can run speaker wires into it, and it will filter out the sound below the frequency you choose (60hz to 80Hz is typical) and the sub will handle that and your main speakers then attach to the speaker OUT jacks on this sub. The sound to your speakers will have the lowest bass filtered out so it is like multiplying the power to them 3 or 4 times. They will not struggle to make low bass they were not designed for + can not produce, so all the power goes to the upper octaves only. SUPER CLEAN, no more running out of power (when your speakers sound distorted or broken up, they are UNDER powered or your amp and speakers can not do what you are asking it). This sub, placed in the right spot, will add a bottom end you never knew you had.
Low bass is non directional so you cant hear where its coming from. SUB PLACEMENT has more to do with the sound than anything else. Experiment with corners, and moving it just 6 inches one way can truly make a difference. Tile floors and cement walls are best. THIS IS STILL A SMALLER SUB, so it will add low bass to your theater or stereo BUT laws of physics are absolute. It can NOT equal the output of a larger sub BUT many larger ones you can not fit, PLUS they cost more. This is great for apartments and condos. Even though it will rattle loose vents, it will not shake neighbors floors. PERFECT for a bedroom or smaller rooms, though a lot depends on what you are trying to do. It can be plenty for a living room, unless you want to feel T-Rex walking in your house.
YOU CAN HEAR IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT (though indoors in your home it will sound different, and FAR better)
