COOL PIECE OF SCHOOL HISTORY-
TEST RECORDS BEORE YOU BUY
COOL GIFT FOR KIDS
- If you remember the days in school when the AV or library aid would wheel in a cart with a slide projector and a record player, how happy you were. The only thing better was when an actual 8mm projector was wheeled in for a MOVIE!! This is before VCRs and DVDs when schools still used the old tried and true technology.
Also VERY COOL to bring with when buying records for your collection. Test play them as all you need is an outlet. Plays through a built in 6x9 inch speaker or theres an output for other speakers or amps. Plays all 3 speeds and the needle is a dual type. 33rpm and 45rpm use the same and flip the stylus over for 78rpm as the needle is different. Replacement styli are very inexpensive but it has a good one in there now. Also has a pop-up 45rpm adapter. The model 326 was a common school district model until VCRs took over.
I also have a listing for a 1960s - 70s Califone school record player, also working fine, that has the heavier solid case, not molded plastic like this model. I also have a group of See-n-Hear Record-Books. The record reads the book to you.
