COMPACT/EASY TO HIDE---LOW BASS IS NONDIRECTIONAL SO YOUR EAR WILL NOT KNOW WHERE IT IS
USE WITH ANY AMP OR RECEIVER RECENT OR VINTAGE---SPEAKER LEVEL INPUT OR LINE LEVEL
CROSSOVER PULLS OUT ANY SOUND BELOW THE CHOSEN FREQUENCY + THE REST GOES TO YOUR SPEAKERS
EXC TESTED CONDITION--- I have other powered subs by Velodyne, Polk, Klipsch, Energy and more but those are in a different price level. For the price, this is an outstanding sub....
If you have great main speakers but they are not BIG with 10 or 12 inch woofers, they can not produce true low bass below 60hz or maybe 50hz. Still sounds full and great but that little bit from 35hz to 60hz is the deep low bass that makes a HUGE difference. Many 8 inch subs have amps less than 100 watts but this is a full 125. THAT IS RMS OR REAL 125 WATTS. Not like the cheap amps or speakers you see that say they are 1000 watts and cost $49. Maybe at 30% distortion it will ma It only needs to make sound in a very very narrow range, and the heavy speaker is designed ONLY for low bass. That is how a single 8 inch woofer can make lower bass than speakers with far larger woofers. This lets you use small main speakers but have the full sound of a huge pair.
Low bass is very position sensitive. The sound waves are very large and use walls and floors to reflect. Connect to the Low Frequency or Subwoofer jack on your receiver or if it is pre-surround
CORNERS ARE BEST...EXTERIOR WALLS TOO...LARGE ROOMS WITH OPEN FLOOR PLANS USE 2 OR LARGER SUBS
