OUTSTANDING UNUSED--Spent decades in the box in the back of a closet. It was never used. Looks just like it did back when cigarette smoking was popular and accepted. Cigarette cases, fancy lighters, ashtrays and sets like these were common gifts. This was made in the USA which definitely dates it to a long time ago. The set has 4 ashtrays and a cigarette case that would be on the coffee table or you would bring the set out after dinner and each person would get a small ashtray and the box would go on the table. Now, people sneak outside to smoke most of the time. I checked for any chips or cracks just in case and found nothing. There is a half inch curved white line on the bottom of the box but its a manufacturing thing in the glass. These sets were nice but not Tiffany crystal or wedgewood. Those companies made sets like these too but in a FAR different price range.
