This is a M.C. Lilley Knights of Pythias ceremonial sword. Best I can determine on when it was made is from the manufacturers mark on the blade was used between 1882 and 1925. The blade is etched with fancy designs along with the name "Robert May" who was likely the original recipient. Sword from tip to end of handle measures 35.5 inches. Sword in scabbard measures 37 inches. Blade length is 28 inches. Sword and scabbard is in good condition with a patina from age. Please view photos and thanks for looking.
